So, New York Parks are REALLY dirty. I could fill up hundreds of bags each time I go to these parks. But, even a tiny bit helps -- so my cousin Elizabeth and I teamed up and we each picked up some trash and put it straight in the garbage.
Pro Tip: NEVER touch garbage. Find something to pick it up with. We didn't have our litter-picker-uppers -- so we just used sticks to pick up the trash and it worked just fine!
Also - I've noticed that every time I go to pick up trash anywhere, people are always saying "Thank you so much!". That makes my day!
If you want to have a good day, and have people thanking you for something nice, just pick up One Bag Per Walk!
